Big Books Plus is a combination teacher-and-student series of publications for kindergarten and first-grade students. Small-sized books were produced for the students, and large-sized books were produced for the classroom teacher.

The book features a song in Spanish and English. Marlisa found Spanish artist Juan Carlos Nichols to illustrate it and help with the layout.
